In 1969/70, the Swedish architect and designer Gilbert Marklund (1933 - 2012) designed a number of sculptural furniture. Marklund used massive, Swedish pine wood and kept using the striking hole. In this series, these two very rare chairs were created, which were manufactured by the Swedish company Furusnickarn.
